WHY BLOODBORNE IS MY GAME OF THE YEAR 2015 :- REYAANSH KATSURA'S OPINION

WHY BLOODBORNE IS MY GAME OF THE YEAR 2015  JUSTIFIED

NOTICE:- The Following Article may contain spoilers . Its an opinion , everyone has its own perspective , so if you have a different opinion about the game tell me in the comments down below .

I had played 'Dark souls' for a few hours but I hated it.There were many reasons for that. Its brutally hard difficulty which frustrated me to death, moreover I was too young to understand what was going on..I didn't understand the point of just killing everyone (or rather getting killed) without proper explanation. Also I hated the controls and the clumsy camera controls(played on PC)...So after that I lost interest in the series altogether. But when I saw the first trailer for Bloodborne it gave me that sort of excitement which rarely happens with me .I got hooked up in it completely.

The Gothic horror theme is one of my favorite and I was  really looking forward to it But  one part of me was a bit hesitant. "What if I couldn't get into it?"," What if its brutally difficult as the other games developed by from software? Then my money would be wasted as I am still a student." These thoughts continued but I gathered my courage and got the game  five months after its release. I was determined not to rage quit and continue no matter what and as I continued .. .From software gained a new die hard fan and Bloodborne became one of my personal favourite.

Obviously I died alot but I learned from my mistakes. I changed my tactics every now and then and learned enemies attack pattern which I had never done for any game till now.And the combat was just so smooth that I settled in its world very easily.. I loved almost everything in Bloodborne. From its visually stunning looks to its incredible level designs and that horrifying soundtrack which suited its atmosphere just so well especially during the panic striken boss battles. I realized how much I thought about Bloodborne all day even before sleeping and sometimes in my dreams.. Everything was just so perfect about it. The gameplay was fantastic. The controls were so perfect that I have difficulty adjusting to other games nowdays which are nowhere smooth as this.

In one way Bloodborne spoiled me .I spent most of my time  thinking ( when I was not playing it) how to get past that particular enemy or boss, making new strategies and thinking  about the mistakes I made in the last few attempts. These things taught me the most important aspects of  life. Trust me if you are having trouble getting into Bloodborne then start comparing it with your life. The game is difficult but fair just as your life. When you die in the game it means in real you failed in a particular objective of your life .One should not give up and try again and again with new strategies and success will come looking. And how satisfactory it is when you finally kill a boss and the rewards you get afterward urges you to push forward knowing the fact that the path ahead is even tougher just like you feel after gaining sucess in real life.

Well we all have heard these things about not giving up and pushing forward but not once in my life had I experienced it before.Bloodborne taught me that.If you still thinking whether to give Bloodborne a shot or not..Well here is a piece of advice-"JUST FUCKING GO FOR IT!!!".And see the drastic changes it brings in your life. Not just GOTY 2015,Bloodborne is undoubtedly one of the best game ever made.
