ALL OCULUS RIFT PRE-ORDERS HAVE SHIPPED
Everyone who pre-ordered an Oculus Rift virtual reality headset can expect their Rifts to be on the way if they haven't received them already.
Oculus VR has confirmed on its blog that all the preorders have been shipped .New Rift orders will ship within 2 to 4 business days, the company said. Rift units initially began shipping on March 28, though some still hadn't received theirs until mid-May or later.
Despite the delays, Oculus Rift headsets began appearing in retail stores in early May, which angered customers waiting for their pre-ordered headsets. Oculus VR has apologized for the delay, and thanked its customers for having "patience over the past few months."
Inventory for Oculus' retail partners both online and in stores will also begin to ramp up this month, along with more Rift demos coming to locations across the United States.
The company also announced its Oculus Connect 3 conference, an event where Oculus VR expects to reveal lots of new information about the Oculus Touch. The event will take place in San Jose, California from October 5 to October 7.
